Human Skull Found at 100 Cattlemen Rd Sarasota Fl Identified as Fernando DeJesus Ramos Velasquez aka “Chewy” DOB 6/6/52

Tuesday, January 26, 2016

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has positively identified the victim whose remains were found in the 100 block of Cattlemen Road in Sarasota last September. At the time, Detectives released photos of personal items found with the remains, which led to information that they may have belonged to a man known as “Chewy.” Detectives identified a possible roommate of “Chewy,” and Deputies recently located him.
chewy

With the information provided by his roommate, Detectives were able to identify “Chewy” aka Fernando DeJesus Ramos Velasquez, DOB 6/6/52, also known as Fernando Velasquez, whose last known address was 835 Ponder Avenue, Sarasota, which is within walking distance to where his body was found. Detectives located his medical records, and by comparing these records to the skeletal remains, the District 12 Medical Examiner’s Office in collaboration with Florida Gulf Coast University anthropologists confirmed the victim was Velasquez. The manner or time frame of his death still has not been determined. The investigation is ongoing. Detectives are not aware of any family living locally and are working to locate next of kin. Anyone who knew Velasquez is asked to call Detective Tuck, 941.861.4939.

The dead guy, Fernando Velasquez, had been carrying a Motorola flip phone that had not been turned on since 2008, he also had a 2012 penny in his jeans pocket. The man had healed rib fractures, and the second toe on his left foot also had a healed fracture. He suffered from gout, he was a drinker, and had most of his teeth, with no apparent dental restorations, it appears that “Chewy” aka Fernando DeJesus Ramos Velasquez, DOB 6/6/52,would have been about 56 years old if he died in 2008, he would be 63 years old today but of course he has been dead for a few years.

According to a Sheriff’s Office release: The medical examiner says that the body of Fernando Velasquez found in the 100 block of Cattlemen Road behind L3 Communications on Sept. 16 was about 56 when he died, he was small in stature. He was wearing Wrangler jeans, size 29×30, waist 29 inches inseam 30 inches, he would be about 5′ 7″ tall and about 145 lbs, he had on an alligator skin belt with a distinctive belt buckle, a Gianni Velente Italian leather jacket and heavy Timberland hiking boots, not exactly dressed for the beach.

It is only one mile from 835 Ponder Rd, last known address for  “Chewy” aka Fernando DeJesus Ramos Velasquez, to 100 Cattlemen Rd Sarasota where his body was found. There does not appear to be a way to go “cross country” from 835 Ponder Rd to 100 Cattlemen Rd as the whole area around 100 Cattlemen Rd is fenced and there is a active wet marsh that would make it very difficult to traverse and no area of the wire fence along W. Sawgrass road appears to have been bent down for someone to climb over. It appears to me that he was brought in from Cattlemen Rd thru the parking lot of L-4 Communications and his body dumped in the marsh, just my opinion, as I have been all around the area.

Jane Doe Meets John Doe in Sarasota Fl Both Unknown Victims Had Been Wearing Clothes Made in Italy With Unusual Belts.

Saturday, October 31, 2015

SARASOTA FL: Both unknown victims, Jane Doe and John Doe, had been wearing clothes made in Italy with unusual belts, both victims were in the 40 to 45 year old range, both victims had been to a dentist with Jane Doe having extensive dental work and John Doe having most of his teeth, with no apparent dental restorations. Both unknown victims, Jane Doe and John Doe, from the clothing they were wearing and dental work, appear to have been people of means, not homeless as some people would guesstimate, Jane Doe also had breast implants.

SARASOTA — Eight years after investigators found her bones in a shallow grave, Sarasota sheriff’s detectives hope new computer-generated images will help identify the woman known only as “Jane Doe.” Jane Doe was found Feb. 6, 2007, in a wooded area 50 yards south of a old AUTO BODY repair shop in a commercial area, in the 5400 block of Ashton Court in Sarasota. “She had been dead for up to a year,” according to the sheriff’s office news release.
The sheriff’s office turned to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, which developed images using craniofacial reconstruction software. The victim apparently was a white woman in her late 30s or mid 40s. She stood about 5-foot-7 and weighed about 145 pounds. She had long reddish brown hair with blonde streaks. “Her eye color could not be determined and may be different than what is depicted,” the sheriff’s office said. Skeletal analysis indicated the victim may have fractured her nose and right wrist at some point in her life. Her breast implants were manufactured before serial numbers were issued, and she had extensive dental work. She was wearing a “Made in Italy” shirt and a skirt with a unusual leather belt made of straps tied together.
An analysis of the victim’s teeth, bone and hair is being performed to understand water consumption and diet in order to determine where in the country she lived. The University of South Florida is assisting with this part of the investigation, according to the sheriff’s office. The sheriff’s office also entered her DNA and dental profiles into government databases. Her body showed signs of trauma, skull fractures that were most likely caused before she was buried.

The Body of The Baby of Sarasota County FL Druggies Joseph Duane Walsh and Kristen Lee Bury is ‘RECOVERED’ Cops Found Blood on Pillows and High on Walls

Thursday, October 08, 2015

MISSING: Chance Walsh
UPDATE 10/15/2015...“The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office recovered the body of an infant believed to be that of Chance Walsh this afternoon in North Port. We have been investigating his disappearance since Sunday, October 4th. Many people have worked tirelessly with the hope of bringing Chance home alive. This multi-state investigation included federal authorities and our counterpart in South Carolina and Georgia. We received information directing us to a location on Elliot Ct. and we have confirmed our worst fears. We will work with the Medical Examiner’s Office on positive identification.”
These despicable dirtball druggies Joseph Duane Walsh and Kristen Lee Bury also ‘lost’ another baby just a little over a year ago his name was Duane. October 6th, 2015 Ridgeland SC Police Officers assisting Federal Agents apprehended Joseph Duane Walsh, DOB 12/23/1978, and Kristen Lee Bury when they were spotted walking on Carters Mill Road in reference to outstanding warrants issued for their arrest by the Sarasota Florida Police Department under the charges of Felony Child Neglect. Both were transported to the Jasper County Detention Center pending extradition back to Sarasota Florida. The Sarasota Sheriff’s Department said inside the home they found blood on pillows and a mattress and high on walls and light fixtures. Deputies said Kristin Bury had another baby who died a year ago named Duane. Her arrest report said she told her mother she could not take care of Chance because she despised him, and he was not Duane, Kristen Bury and Joseph Walsh, are longtime drug users. Joseph Duane Walsh, DOB 12/23/1978, has over 200 criminal and civil cases found on the Sarasota County Clerk’s website including Aggravated Assault.

NORTH PORT, Fla. (WFLA) — The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public finding a 9-week-old baby boy from North Port who has disappeared. Investigators are also seeking information about the activities of the baby’s parents before they left the state. On October 4, the maternal grandmother of Chance Walsh contacted the sheriff’s office and said she was concerned that she had not seen him since September 9. She and the boy’s paternal grandmother made a number of unsuccessful attempts to check on Chance’s welfare because she said his parents, Kristen Bury and Joseph Walsh, are longtime drug users. The family contacted law enforcement after the pair told them they were in a vehicle crash in South Carolina, but told relatives several different stories including that the child was unharmed, that he died in the crash and that they gave him to a woman at a hotel in Georgia.

Joseph Duane Walsh, DOB 12/23/1978, has over 200 criminal and civil cases found on the Sarasota County Clerk’s website including Aggravated Assault. Detectives confirmed with South Carolina law enforcement that there was no baby in the vehicle at the time of the crash and no room for a car seat. They also confirmed with Georgia law enforcement that the couple stayed at an Augusta hotel but there was no baby with them. A woman staying at the hotel reported that Kristen tried to sell baby clothes to her and that Kristen told her the baby had died three weeks earlier. At this time the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has charged Joseph Walsh and Kristen Bury with Child Neglect. They are each being held on $150,000 bond in Jasper County, SC, awaiting extradition to the Sarasota County Jail. In addition to working with the FBI, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is issuing a bulletin seeking information on Chance or his parents to assist with this investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Section at 941.861.4074 or if you wish to remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers of Sarasota County, 941.366.TIPS (8477), or online at www.sarasotacrimestoppers.com.

Human Skull and Remains Found Behind 100 Cattlemen Road in The Marsh Just Off of The I-75 Interstate in Sarasota Fl Could Belong to A Motorcycle Rider

Wednesday, October 7, 2015

Will the Sarasota Sheriff Department release the full results of the medical examiners report as to what toxins were discovered in the skull and bones of the dead guy, John Doe, found in the contaminated marsh behind 100 Cattlemen Rd who had been in there for at least 2 years or more? The skull and bones of John Doe found in the marsh behind 100 Cattlemen Rd could contain beryllium dust, trichloroethylene, 1, 4 dioxin (TCE) and perchlorethylene (PCE), the same toxins found at the Lockheed Martin Tallevast site.

In a classic game of corporate ‘three-card monte’ Loral Corporation owned the American Beryllium Co. Inc. of Sarasota Florida at 1600 Tallevast Rd Sarasota Fl, Loral Corporation also owned the property at 100 Cattlemen Rd Sarasota Fl for a time, L-3 Communications is now located there. Loral Corporation, American Beryllium Co. Inc, and L-3 Communications are all directly linked to Lockheed Martin Corporation in one way or another in Sarasota Fl. When the mark, Sarasota County, arrived at the corporate Three-card Monte game, it is likely that a number of other players had been seen winning and losing money at the game. The people engaged in playing the game are often shills (Loral Corporation, American Beryllium Co. Inc, and L-3 Communications), confederates of the dealer (Lockheed Martin Corporation) who pretend to play so as to give the illusion of a straight gambling game, suckers. Where’s Erin Brockovich when you need her?

SARASOTA HERALD TRIBUNE: The Sarasota County Sheriff’s office is conducting a death investigation after human remains were found in a wooded area on Wednesday afternoon. Workers with a private water company found a skull in the 100 block of Cattlemen Road behind L3 Communications when they were clearing a path to a well. They called 911 at about 12:40 p.m. Forensic services located the rest of the remains about 50 feet south of a nearby parking lot. “The remains have been here for some time,” sheriff’s spokeswoman Wendy Rose said in a news conference at the scene. The gender of the person is not known, Rose said. No other information will be released at this time.

SONY DSC

This area were the body was found is also somewhat behind Loews Home Improvement, it is a wooded area and out of the way, no foot traffic, good place to dump a body, see map above, also near Harley Davidson Motorcycle dealer.

According to a Sheriff’s Office release: The medical examiner says the unidentified man found in the 100 block of Cattlemen Road behind L3 Communications on Sept. 16 was more than 45 years old, possibly in his 60s, and was small in stature.

He was carrying a Motorola flip phone, lighters, Mennen Speed Stick deodorant, nail clippers and two small black combs. The cause of his death has not been determined, but detectives think his body may have been there since late 2013 or early 2014. A 2012 penny was found in his pocket.

The leather jacket, heavy Timberland boots, jeans, broken toe and broken ribs all could indicate a motorcycle rider, especially since there is a upscale Harley Davidson Motorcycle dealer just yards away.

3 Murdering Thugs Antione Battle, Byron Jones, and Christian Theodore Arrested in Sarasota, Antione Battle was Wanted for Murder in Atlanta.

Wednesday, January 07, 2015

Why was murdering thug Antoine Battle in Sarasota Fl, his photo above, Police in Atlanta were looking for this 19-year-old Antoine Battle piece of crap in the shooting death of Kristofer Hunter, 17, at Langston Hughes High School after a football game on Oct. 3, 2014. Antoine Battle was arrested in Sarasota Fl on Jan 7, 2015 at 3040 Jennings Drive, Sarasota also located at this location were murder supects Christian Theodore, 22, Azalea Mendoza, 19, and Byron James, 26, nice neighborhood.

Theodore Christian Jones Byron

SARASOTA HERLAD TRIBUNE: It should be no real surprise that Christian Theodore, 22, (THUG ON THE LEFT IN PHOTOS ABOVE) is charged with murder in an armed home invasion, one that took place last month in south Sarasota. In 2011, he was barely a legal adult when he and two accomplices did a similar crime, though no one was killed in that one. People were threatened at gunpoint and forced to lie on the floor and terrorized, and a man was beaten on the head — with the gun and other objects — and suffered severe scalp wounds, SEE MORE AT SHT.

PRIOR ARREST: Christian Theodore was taken into custody on 8/4/2011 in Manatee County, Florida and charged with home invasion with firearm, arrest warrant, see his photo above.

SARASOTA SHERIFF DEPT: The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has made three arrests in connection with the December 14, 2014, home invasion robbery during which Jonathan Jeffery was killed. Jeffery’s wife Brandi told detectives three men wearing masks broke into their home, demanded drugs and cash, tied the couple up and held them at gunpoint. The suspects stole an X-Box, a bag of money and cell phones, and then one of them shot Jonathan in the back of his head. Early in the investigation, detectives identified two vehicles that were seen speeding away from the scene. Their travels before and after the murder were confirmed by video from several different locations.

A law enforcement bulletin describing one of the cars, a Mitsubishi Eclipse, was identified by a deputy who recently had contact with its driver, Christian Michael Theodore, DOB 10/27/92, 3040 Jennings Drive, Sarasota. Detectives found the second vehicle, a Honda Civic, at the Jennings Drive address, and determined it was driven by Theodore’s girlfriend, Azalea Mendoza, DOB 8/21/95, whose mother owns the home.

Theodore ChristianMendoza AzaleaJones Byron
Christian Theodore, 22, left, Azalea Mendoza, 19, and Byron James, 26, are accused in a home invasion robbery last month that left a man dead. (Photos provided by Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office) Detectives also obtained surveillance video from Walmart on Cattlemen Road that shows Theodore and Byron Jones, DOB 8/9/88, 680 79th Terrace North, Apt. 308, Building 11, St. Petersburg, in the store three hours before the murder. They bought camouflage bandanas, gloves and cable ties matching the lot number found on the victims. On Monday, January 5, detectives brought Theodore in for questioning, and search warrants were executed at the Jennings Drive address and on both vehicles.

Theodore is charged with Second Degree Murder and Armed Home Invasion Robbery. He was on probation for a similar crime in Manatee County from 2011, and has a history of Aggravated Assault and weapons charges in Sarasota County. Mendoza is charged with Accessory to Homicide after the Fact. Jones was taken into custody at his home yesterday with the assistance of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with Principal to Second Degree Murder and is currently in the Pinellas County Jail.

A third man, Antione Battle of Atlanta, DOB 1/19/95, was also located at the home on Jennings Drive. He voluntarily came in for questioning but initially gave detectives an alias. They used the biometric rapid identification system, which identified him as Battle, who is wanted in Georgia for Felony Murder and three other charges. Police in Atlanta were looking for 19-year-old Antoine Battle in the shooting death of Kristofer Hunter, 17, at Langston Hughes High School after a football game on Oct. 3 2014. He is being held as a fugitive in the Sarasota County Jail and is not currently charged in this crime. Allen Blackthorne Has Died in Prison He Hired a Bradenton PI to Find Ex-Wife Sheila Bellush in Gulf Gate Sarasota and Then Had Her Murdered

Friday, November 21, 2014

A gruesome murder for hire story that included using a Bradenton private investigator to find ex-wife Sheila Bellush who had full custody of their children has come to a conclusion for Allen Blackthorne the mastermind and the controlling money man who would not give up and let go. Blackthorne had a history of violence against his ex-wife Sheila Bellush. In 1987 he was arrested for and pled guilty to beating her up, he was divorced from her and she had full custody of their children, Blackthorne had stalked Bellush since their divorce in 1987 and yet a Bradenton PI took the case to find Sheila Bellush in 1997, why? Based on past violent attacks by other inmates on Blackthorne, my guess is that Blackthorne was stabbed to death, good riddance.

DEAD MAN WALKING In May of 2002…ATLANTA — A thin, scraggly Allen Blackthorne recently told reporters for a San Antonio television station that he’d been stabbed 13 times. The former Texas millionaire, convicted of paying to have his ex-wife murdered at her Sarasota home, said another inmate at a federal prison in Beaumont, Texas, stabbed him 13 times with a Phillips screwdriver in October. After the stabbings, Blackthorne was moved to a federal prison in Atlanta. In a video made at the prison, he lifted his white T-shirt to show a long scar across his abdomen, and talked in detail about how the inmate also jabbed the screwdriver into one of his eye sockets.

SARASOTA HERALD TRIBUNE, November 21st, 2014, SAN ANTONIO – Former San Antonio millionaire Allen Blackthorne, who was serving two life sentences for hiring the murder of ex-wife Sheila Bellush, has died in federal prison. He was 59. Blackthorne died Tuesday in the U.S. Penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana, according to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons website. No cause of death was listed. Bellush, often referred to as the “Quad Mom” for the quadruplets she had with a second husband, was found shot with her throat slit in her Sarasota, Florida, home in 1997. Two of Bellush’s then-2-year-old children were found crawling in her blood. Bellush and Blackthorne divorced in 1989 and had a bitter custody dispute over their two daughters. In 1997, Bellush moved to Florida, and six weeks later, she was killed.

blackthorne
CBS NEWS May 12th, 1999, Wealthy San Antonio businessman, Allen Blackthorne made his fortune selling medical equipment. In his 40s, he had made his home in a million-dollar mansion with his fourth wife, Maureen and their two children. Blackthorne had a history of violence against his ex-wife Sheila Bellush. In 1987 he was arrested for, and pled guilty to, beating her up. And Blackthorne doesn’t deny that he hit her, but said that it was a one-time occurrence: “I did hit her. Soon after that, Sheila Bellush filed to end their five-year marriage. It was an ugly, litigious divorce. In the years following the divorce, police were called to Blackthorne’s house many times to mediate family disturbances. Bellush even had Blackthorne arrested for sexually abusing their daughter Stevie, a charge he denies. The charges were eventually dropped.

In the middle of all this turmoil, Sheila met Jamie Bellush. Soon after, they were married. Then, Sheila Bellush won custody of the couple’s two daughters, and Blackthorne agreed to have nothing to do with his two teenage daughters’ lives ever again. Shelia Bellush and her new husband, and now 6 children, moved to the Gulf Gate section of Sarasota Fl in September1997. “She beat him in court,” said Kerry, Sheila Bellush’s sister. “She took him back to court because she wanted to get on with her life and get away from him.” Soon after the Bellushes moved, Allen Blackthorne hired a Bradenton Fl private investigator to find Sheila Bellush. After some digging the Bradenton PI located her and verifed the Gulf Gate address by having flowers delivered to the house, and gave the information to Allen Blackthorne. Three weeks later, Bellush was dead. Sheila Bellush, 35, was found dead in her Gulf Gate home Nov. 7, 1997, her quadruplet toddlers wandering through her blood.

In 1987 Allen Blackthorne was arrested for and pled guilty to beating Sheila (Blackthorne) Bellush up, he was divorced from her and she had full custody of their children and Blackthorne had stalked Bellush since their divorce in 1987“. Allen Blackthorne had requested that an associate in Sarasota send him the P.I. Section of the Sarasota Yellow pages, she fax’d him page 578 of the 1997 GTE Yellow Pages, GTE became Verizon a few years later, Bell Atlantic merged with GTE on June 30, 2000, and named the new entity Verizon Communications.

UNSOLVED MURDER: $6,000 REWARD FOR INFO ON WHO KILLED NICOLE (NIKKI) SCOTT IN MANATEE COUNTY FL

Saturday, August 16, 2014

There is no way to sugar coat the unsolved murder of Nikki Scott, she was involved with the drug trade and prostitution on the North Trail Rte 41 in Sarasota Fl. I keep getting tips from people who were also involved in the drug trade on the North Trail in SRQ or are linked to some of the drug dealers who work out of the motels on the North Trail in SRQ and the story is always the same, guys with street names like Ro and Dex killed Nikki. Dex and Ro have multiple arrests for drug sales and violent crimes in Newtown, time to put these boys behind bars.

FROM INFORMATION FROM A CONFIDENTIAL INFORMANT (CI) ABOUT DEX AND NIKKI SCOTT….”Around the time of Nicole Scott’s murder (December 10th, 2011) I was staying at a motel Dex was renting out as well (Days Inn Motel on 41 Sarasota Fl) I was outside on the phone when I over heard a couple of girls accusing Dex for raping and killing a girl named Nikki. A couple of days later I was asked by Dex if he could use my phone, I said yes & he head towards his room saying he needs to go get a number that he wrote down, I walked down the hall with him, he told me to come inside while he looks, offered me a cigarette I seen 2 girls sleeping in the bed so I thought nothing of it being a bad idea. He (Dex) ended up locking me in the room and threatening to rape me, thankfully I was able to get away before anything happened. However while I was in the room I accused him of being crazy & I brought up the rumors I over heard of him murdering Nikki Scott & I said they were probably true. He reacted very violently once he hear her name, he began hitting me & told me, if I didn’t keep his name out of my mouth he would find out & he swore he would kill me no matter how far I ran he would find me. I’m not sure if this is going to help any, I just wanted to make it known he is very capable of doing what he’s being accused of.

Death of Nicole Rose Scott, On Dec 11th 2011, the body of Nicole Scott was found in a ditch on University Pkwy in Manatee County. At this time we believe that Nicole might have been in the ditch for possible three days before she was discovered. Nicole worked as a prostitute on the North Trail, and frequented the hotels in that area. Nicole was also a known drug user. We would like anyone that knows anything about her death, or who she might have been with to come forward with this information.

Newtown Section of Sarasota Fl Needs a Curfew Set in Place ASAP Along With Stop and Search Policy As Thugs Continue to Fire Guns Into Air on Crowded Streets

Tuesday, July 22, 2014

Maurice Carnes and Jerral Bell gun toting Newtown fools.
Sarasota Police Dept. Published on Jul 22, 2014, Newtown Section of Sarasota Fl Needs a Curfew Set in Place ASAP Along With Stop and Search Policy .
UPDATE: September 3rd, 2014 on Jerral Bell.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit, working in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force, today captured a career criminal who was wanted on two felony charges. Through investigation and surveillance, deputies located Jerral Bell, DOB 1/12/89, this morning and arrested him during a felony traffic stop at University Parkway and Shade Avenue in Sarasota. Bell was the man shown on surveillance video firing his weapon in the midst of a crowd that had gathered in north Sarasota in the early morning hours of July 5. After his release from jail in July, Bell failed to appear in court for his arraignment on charges of Discharging a Firearm in Public and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon. Bell has been arrested more than 20 times for crimes including Battery, Burglary and multiple drug and weapons charges. Bell was featured on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page for the most recent “Fugitive Friday,” a weekly social media campaign to highlight wanted criminals. He is the second of four suspects featured in August to be apprehended.

On July 5, 2014, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers monitoring cameras along Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way near Dixie Avenue, observed two suspects known to them, Maurice Carnes and Jerral Bell, standing near the intersection. see https://www.facebook.com/SarasotaPoliceDepartment?fref=nf#!/SarasotaPoliceDepartment

During this time and as seen in the first video clip, officers observed Carnes, who was wearing a dark colored button up shirt, give a handgun to Bell, who was wearing a dark tank top. After receiving the handgun, Bell fired off several shots into the air among the crowd. Officers then observed Bell hand back the handgun to Carnes who walked east on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Way away from Bell. see https://www.facebook.com/SarasotaPoliceDepartment?fref=nf#!/SarasotaPoliceDepartment

As seen on video Carnes walks between two marked Sarasota Police patrol vehicles with the handgun in plain sight. Officers relayed information to responding units who subsequently took Carnes into custody after a brief foot pursuit. Officers then located and arrested Bell. No injuries were reported. see https://www.facebook.com/SarasotaPoliceDepartment?fref=nf#!/SarasotaPoliceDepartment

Carnes has been charged with felony possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, resisting an officer without violence and smuggling contraband into a detention facility. Bell has been charged with felony possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and firing a weapon in public or on residential property. see https://www.facebook.com/SarasotaPoliceDepartment?fref=nf#!/SarasotaPoliceDepartment

The second incident, also captured on camera, occurred two hours later in the area of Links Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Way at approximately 3:54 a.m. As seen on video, a large crowd gathers, shots are fired in close proximity to both Sarasota Police officers and citizens and the crowd disperses quickly. One person was wounded in this shooting incident, which is currently an active investigation. see https://www.facebook.com/SarasotaPoliceDepartment?fref=nf#!/SarasotaPoliceDepartment

Group Offers Free Shotguns to Fight Crime in Florida Suburb When Are They Coming to South Gate Ridge Sarasota, Kayla is Ready?

Wednesday, September 25, 2013

NBC NEWS…Group Offers Free Shotguns to Fight Crime in Florida Suburb When Are They Coming to South Gate Ridge Sarasota, Kayla is Ready?  Members of a gun-rights group think they have the answer to combating crime — free shotguns and ammo to homeowners. Members of the Armed Citizen Project of Florida have been dropping leaflets on doorsteps in the Sunshine Gardens community near Orlando, Fla., offering to “arm volunteer households,” for free. “This is perfectly legal because what we’re doing is we’re offering first of all a certified gun-instruction class, but we’re not handing out the shotguns whatsoever.” the ACP state director Ron Ritter told local NBC affiliate WESH.
Ritter said a firearms retailer would supply the shotguns and ammunition and transfer ownership once the volunteer passes a background check. According to the Armed Citizen Project’s national website, run by its flagship Houston, Texas, chapter, the group is “dedicated to facilitating the arming of law abiding citizens” in order to fight crime. The group’s founder, Kyle Coplen, made headlines in May when he said he wanted to give away free shotguns to New Yorkers.
We are ready and waiting to accept your offer in South Gate Ridge Sarasota home to numerous daytime burglaries by pill heads, bring it on. In 2003, while pregnant, she was arrested for trying to cash stolen checks, an arrest report shows. In 2008, she was arrested again after snatching a black leather folder containing $139 from a waitress at Gecko’s Grill and Bar in Sarasota. After a struggle between both women, the waitress recovered the cash. When deputies found Scott, she was “angry, not cooperative, and even attempted to spit on deputies standing near her,” an arrest report shows. Scott was under the influence of drugs. She was found guilty and sentenced to six months in jail.In 2009, she was arrested during an undercover officer investigation after she offered to perform a sexual act for $30. Was Nicole Scott murdered by drug dealers in Newtown who dumped her partially nude body in a Manatee County ditch where she was found on December 11th, 2011?
Two detectives — one from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office and the other from the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office — executed a search warrant at Nicole Rose Scott’s house in the 5400 block of Potter Street. When detectives and two Sarasota sheriff’s office patrol cars arrived at the house Dec. 11, there was no answer at the front door, the search warrant said.   When detectives entered the home, no one was home. According to a search warrant, detectives and patrol deputies found the home of Nicole Rose Scott, 29, unlocked and the television still on.  Cops confiscated numerous items to be checked for DNA, blood, fingerprints and clothing fibers to determine who may recently have been in the house in the 5400 block of Potter Street. Those items include beer bottles, water bottles, ashtrays, condom wrappers, cigarette butts, notebooks, a cellphone charger, a glass pipe, bed linen and a motel room key.
The warrant was executed the same day Scott’s body was found at about 10:30 a.m. among the trees lining University Parkway at Bourneside Boulevard. Nicole Scott, 29, “appeared to have been killed by homicidal violence and she appeared to have been dead for at least 48 hours,” the warrant said. The sheriff’s office received Scott’s autopsy report Dec. 12, but have not released the information. In Sarasota, Scott had a history of drug-related arrests and was convicted several times, according to Sarasota County court records.
