ISIS Plots Christmas Terror Attack in NYC as Times Square Costumed Characters still Do Not Wear Photo ID Cards-An ISIS fighter said  ‘They Think They Can Distinguish Us These Days They Are Fools’, legislation is still pending in NYC to compel Times Square Costumed Characters to Wear Photo ID Cards. ISIS terrorists continues to put New York City and Times Square at the top of their ‘to do list’. CIA Director John Brennan warned Americans hours after deadly Istanbul terror attack that he fears ISIS is planning similar large-scale offensives inside the United States. In an interview with Yahoo News, the nation’s top spy said he’s “worried” that a copycat attack will be carried out within our borders by the radical jihadist network, which is believed to be behind the suicide bombings at Ataturk Airport that claimed 41 lives and injured scores more.

“I am worried from the standpoint of an intelligence professional who looks at the capabilities of (ISIS) … and their determination to kill as many as people as possible and to carry out attacks abroad,” CIA TOP BOSS Brennan told Yahoo News, adding, “I’d be surprised if (ISIS) is not trying to carry out that kind of attack in the United States.” Brennan then turned up the scare factor by talking about how easy it would be to “construct” a suicide vest. “You look at what happened in the Turkish airport, these were suicide vests,” he told Yahoo News. “It’s not that difficult to actually construct and fabricate a suicide vest … so if you have a determined enemy and individuals who are not concerned about escape, that they are going into it with a sense that they are going to die, that really does complicate your strategy in terms of preventing attacks.” “It was a suicide bombing, [which] is usually more (an ISIS) technique,” Brennan said.

ABC NEWS: Holiday Season Could Be Target for ISIS Terrorists, DHS Says. “Though we know of no intelligence that is both specific and credible at this time of a plot by terrorist organizations to attack the homeland, the reality is terrorist-inspired individuals have conducted, or attempted to conduct, attacks in the United States,” reads a bulletin posted online today by the Department of Homeland Security. The warning says terrorists could attempt to target “public events and places where people congregate, like in Times Square NYC.” In July a man driving a large truck barreled into a packed crowd near the waterfront in Nice, France, killing more than 80 people before he was gunned down by police. ISIS later claimed in a statement that he was “a soldier of the Islamic State,” though the group suggested that it did not have foreknowledge of the plot. While a senior law enforcement official reiterated that there’s no specific or credible threat at this time, the official said New York City’s counterterrorism apparatus, from the police department to the FBI and other agencies, are ramping up special protocols used for major events.

ISIS UNDERCOVER IN USA: “The West are idiots and fools,” one ISIS fighter taunted, according to Reuters. “They think we are waiting for them to give us visas to go and attack them or that we will attack with our beards or even Islamic outfits. “They think they can distinguish us these days – they are fools and more than that they don’t know we can play their game in intelligence. They infiltrated us with those who pretend to be Muslims and we have also penetrated them with those who look like them.” About 100 Americans are being tracked by the FBI because of their travels to Syria, some to join ISIS, analysts say. And ISIS is actively recruiting Westerners and European Muslims who could easily enter the US.

What’s to stop ISIS terrorists to dress up as these costumed street characters with suicide bomb vests underneath the costume and create complete havoc in Times Square with coordinated detonations, just like the Boston Marathon Bombing? Starting June 21st 2016 the costumed street characters were confined to the new zones — 10-foot-by-50-foot rectangles marked off with teal-colored paint on the pavement of pedestrian plazas between West 42nd and West 47th streets, where Broadway and Seventh Avenue crisscross. It is a small stab at taming Times Square, the glittery, Technicolored public space that is a must-see for tourists and an important thoroughfare for residents and commuters. Between 350,000 and 450,000 pedestrians pass through it daily, according to the Times Square Alliance, a business improvement group. The cars, taxis, buses, hawkers selling tickets for bus tours and comedy shows and the contingent of costumed characters just add to the shifting mass.

STILL PENDING: CITY HALL May 4th, 2016— Costumed characters in Times Square could be required to remove their masks on command and pay $30 to register for a photo ID card under proposed legislation. In 2014, Bronx City Councilman Andy King introduced a bill that called for costumed characters in Times Square to wear photo IDs, undergo background checks and register with the city’s Department of Consumer Affairs by paying $170 over two years. King and members of the Committee on Consumer Affairs presented a stripped-down version of the same bill Wednesday — designed to “make sure we’re able to identify those folks who go out there to solicit [tips]… or engage with the tourist population, as well as regular New Yorkers,” he explained.

STILL PENDING: Costumed characters who work taking photos and collecting tips from people in Times Square hold a protest during a press conference announcing new legislation being introduced by city and state officials for the licensing and regulation of costumed people in Times Square on September 8, 2014 in New York City. As the number of costumed characters has grown over the past year, a growing number of complaints and arrests of the characters have taken place
