L-R: Deputy Chief Michael Harrington, Deputy Chief Eric Rodriguez, Deputy Inspector James Grant, Deputy Chief David Colon.
Milici was placed on modified duty on March 31 of this year, and was suspended from the force on April 25. This action was taken after Micili filed his retirement papers, according to the Daily News. The 26-year NYPD veteran, assigned to the 66th Precinct in Brooklyn, had previously been stripped of his gun and badge after refusing to answer federal grand jury questions, the News reported. This NYPD detective was the fourth Staten Island cop — along with New Dorp resident Deputy Chief Eric Rodriguez, Deputy Inspector James Grant, and Westerleigh resident Deputy Chief Michael Harrington — swept up in the FBI probe into police corruption.
