DUE TO THE UHURU MOVEMENT “AFRICANS HAVE A RIGHT TO RESIST”, Police have been shot and killed by Black Nationalists in St. Pete, Philadelphia, New York City, Miami, Detroit, Indianapolis, Oakland and Tampa, among many other places. THE UHURU MOVEMENT is a black nationalist, black separatist Communist organization that encourages blacks to resist cops, in all form of confrontations. The UHURU Movement in St Pete Fl is run by ex-Black Panther Joe Waller aka Chairman Omali Yeshitela who appears to be carrying on the tradition of the violent 60′s “Black Liberation Army”. Cops Targeted by Uhuru Black Power Movement, “Africans Have A Right to Resist The Police”.

Indianapolis: The family of a man who used a semi-automatic rifle to kill an Indianapolis police officer Perry Renn, his photo above, Saturday night, July 5th, 2014 says it isn’t fair that the alleged shooter – Major Davis, Jr. (long time drug dealer) – should “keep being dragged through the mud.” They also blamed the officer for not staying in his police car. As reported by WISH-TV, Davis was seen brandishing a semi-automatic SKS rifle Saturday night, July 5th, 2014 in Indianapolis, which led to a 911 call that dispatched police to look for him.

When IMPD Officer Perry Renn found Major Davis Jr., his photo above, at 34th Street and Forest Manor Avenue, Davis opened fire on Officer Renn. Davis was critically wounded in the gunfight, but survived. Officer Renn died of wounds sustained in the firefight. Davis now faces a charge of murder. Davis’ father, Major Davis, Sr. had been arrested 15 times and did three years in prison on a drug charge. He died of a heart attack in 2003 while in handcuffs after fighting with police as he attempted to avoid a public intoxication charge. The family said it “felt sorry” for Officer Renn’s family, but that the shooting may have been avoided if he had stayed in his car since he could see Major Davis Jr. had a semi-automatic SKS rifle. Incidentally, the alleged killer has an extensive criminal background that dates back to 2006.

Thursday, May 19, 2011 Cops Targeted by Uhuru Black Power Movement, Africans Have A Right to Resist The Police Claims Black Panther Joe Waller aka Omali Yeshitela. St. Petersburg-Oakland-Philadelphia UHURH Movement led by UHURU Boss Omali Yeshitela aka Joe Waller’s program of “Africans Have a Right to Resist the Police” is sure working dead law enforcement officers are piling up nationwide. In Jan 2011 the UHURU Movement began posting articles on their website stating that “Shooting of police in Florida part of growing trend of African resistance to occupation“ and defending cop killers like Hydra Lacy. 60′s Radical Penny Hess Leader of Omali Yeshitela’s APSC In St Pete Writes “The bullet not the ballot is the best way for the black man in America to gain power”.

UHURU Movement Resistance is the trend: Feb. 2011, In any police shooting, seen by many in the African community as resistance to police colonial military occupation, “Africans Have a Right to Resist! Freedom and Reparations Now!” It marks the second time in less than a month that occupying cops were shot in the African community. The first happened shortly before the convention when two St. Pete Police and a U.S. Marshal went into Hydra Lacy’s home to capture him. In that incident, the two St. Pete Police were killed and the U.S. Marshal injured before he was killed by a barrage of gunfire by an array of cops that included participation by U.S. Homeland Security forces. The resistance in St. Petersburg is part of a larger trend of resistance (Nationwide). Just in the 24-hour period that the Hydra Lacy incident occurred, 11 cops were shot across the U.S. In the recent past, police have been shot in St. Pete, Miami, Detroit, Indianapolis, Oakland and Tampa, among other places.

Born in Philadelphia, Abu-Jamal became involved in black nationalism in his youth, and was a member of the Black Panther Party until October 1970. Abu-Jamal was injured by a shot from Faulkner and when further police arrived on the scene, he was arrested and charged with first degree murder.
