Five people described as anarchists were arrested Monday in a Cleveland-area park for trying to blow up the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Brecksville Station near the Ohio State Route 82 bridge . The public was never in danger from the explosive devices, which were inoperable and controlled by an undercover FBI employee, according to sources close to the investigation.

 

According to a written release, Occupy Cleveland members Douglas l. Wright, 26, Brandon L. Baxter, 20, and Anthony Wayne, 35, were arrested by the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force on April 30 on charges of conspiracy and attempted use of explosive materials to damage physical property affecting interstate commerce.The three are self-proclaimed anarchists.

Charges were filed against the defendants Tuesday morning in Cleveland. Court documents say three of the suspects are self-proclaimed anarchists who formed a small group and considered a series of plots over several months.

The CVSR Brecksville Station, set against the scenic Ohio State Route 82 bridge over the Cuyahoga River and Cuyahoga Valley, is one of several stations modeled after historic train station designs within Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland office of the FBI will hold a Tuesday morning news conference to detail arrests and charges filed relating to a national security issue. Steven Dettelbach, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, and Stephen Anthony, Special Agent in Charge of the Cleveland FBI office, will provide details about the local connection to this national security case. Sources told NewsChannel5 federal agents arrested five people who were allegedly conspiring to use explosives to destroy a bridge near Cleveland.

In my opinion and from the facts gathered by an investigation of open public court records, arrest records and archived news articles, it appears to me that Occupy Sarasota poster boy Chris Young has set up the Sarasota Police Department and the City of Sarasota for a Federal Civil Rights Lawsuit, with Michael Barfield of the ACLU and local attorney Derek Byrd at his side.

The attorney who filed the lawsuit against the Sarasota Police Department on behalf of the Occupy Sarasota Members is Andrea Mogensen, she is a Board member of the ACLU.  According to a January 2009 Sarasota Herald Tribune Article..Defense attorney charged with resisting arrest. SARASOTA – A defense attorney who built her private practice questioning law enforcement arrests was charged with resisting arrest without violence on Saturday morning. Sarasota police said Andrea Mogensen, 42, her photo, refused to stop and give her first name as she walked at 3 a.m. in the 2500 block of South Milmar Drive. Police were responding to a domestic dispute at her boyfriend’s house in the 2500 block of South Milmar Drive, where a window had been broken. Andrea Mogensen fit the description of the woman involved in the dispute, police said. When an officer approached her, she stated she was a lawyer and did not have to stop, a police report says. The officer took Andrea Mogensen to the ground, handcuffed her and charged her with obstruction.

 Occupy Sarasota protester Chris Young’s arrest has made Regional Media headlines since Saturday 2/25/2012. Michael Barfield of the ACLU contends the arrest by the Sarasota Police Department violated Chris Young’s constitutional right of free speech.
