FOX NEWS WikiLeaks Documents Describe Al Qaeda Plots Against U.S. With Saifullah Paracha, I told You About Saifullah Paracha And His Son Uzair Paracha In 2006

Fox News.. Published April 26, 2011| Associated Press.  WASHINGTON — Classified military files obtained by the WikiLeaks website reveal a range of potential Al Qaeda plots against the United States, including post-9/11 aircraft attacks on the West Coast, The New York Times reported Monday. 

The schemes — none of which were executed — are described in U.S. military assessments of terrorism suspects being held at the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Those detainees include Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of the 9/11 attacks. 

One of the dossiers described by the Times concerns Saifullah Paracha, a New York travel agent for years who allegedly worked with Mohammed on plots to follow up on the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. One plan suggested by Paracha involved smuggling plastic explosives in shipments of clothing bound for the U.S., the Times reported.

The man, Uzair Paracha (top) , 26, was convicted in Federal District Court in Manhattan in November of trying to help Majid Khan, a Pakistani member of Al Qaeda, obtain documents in 2003 to travel to the United States from Pakistan. The father of Uzair, Saifullah Paracha, is being held in Gitmo as an enemy combatant, see his photo above.

 

According to trial testimony and Justice Department documents, Mr. Khan had planned with top Qaeda leaders in Pakistan to bomb underground storage tanks at gas stations in Maryland.

 

Uzair Paracha impersonated Majid Khan, including posing as him during telephone calls with the Immigration and Naturalization Service and using his credit card to make it appear as though Mr. Khan had never left the United States, when in fact he had gone to Pakistan without notifying immigration authorities.

TERRORIST MAJID KHAN FROM BALTIMORE WAS LINKED TO UZAIR PARACHA IN NYC AND WAS PLOTTING TO POISON THE WATER SUPPLY IN THE UPSTATE NY RESERVOIR; Khan had worked at his family’s gas stations in Baltimore and was able to help Khaled sheikh Mohammed with research into a plan to blow up gas stations, the government said.  Mohammed also asked Khan to research how to poison US water reservoirs, according to the government profile. The NYC water supply system from the Croton Reservoir is unfiltered.

Uzair Paracha was arrested in March 2003 and faced up to 75 years in prison after being convicted on five charges, including conspiracy to provide and providing material support to Al Qaeda and identification-document fraud for the purpose of engaging in international terrorism.

Uzair Paracha set himself up in the midtown Manhattan office of his father’s business partner in International Merchandise Group, an import-export company that shipped clothing in container ships for clients that included Kmart.

Uzair Paracha, 24, son of Saifullah Paracha, detained in New York March 29th 2003. In November 2005, Uzair Paracha was convicted of all five counts he faced. All five counts carry a maximum penalty of up to 15 years in prison. He awaits sentencing, while being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, on June 2nd, 2006, his Father is being held at “Gitmo” as an enemy combatant.
