EDL is a fascist group with many names such as MarchForEngland, Stop the Islamisation of Europe (SIOE), CASUAL UNITED, COMBAT 18, National Front etc and all going under the BNP flag. They are racist groups, anti Muslim, black, Asian, basically any non white people in England. They want communities to divide & attack, one community at a time, today it is the Muslims tomorrow it is the blacks, next the Jews.

The English Defense League first surfaced as an organization in the spring and has been banned from holding any marches in Luton for three months. Activists have been using social networking sites such as Facebook to spread their protests across the country. English Defense League (EDL), has been staging anti-Islam protests in various British cities. The EDL was founded by a football hooligan and is composed primarily of hooligans and individuals who bear close resemblance to skinheads. Stop the Islamisation of Europe (SIOE), which boasts 2,300 supporters on its Facebook page, is inspired by a right-wing group in Denmark of the same name who have held regular protests outside mosques ever since cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad appeared in a newspaper sparking riots across the Muslim world. Unlike far-right groups such as the British National Party, which campaigns on an anti-immigration ticket, the EDL and SOIE have concentrated on campaigning against Islam.

Stop the Islamification of Europe (SIOE), was originally a Danish anti-Islamist group which originated out of the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy. The group was founded in 2007 by Anders Gravers Pedersen, the leader of a small Danish party called the Stop the Islamisation of Denmark (Danish: Stop Islamiseringen af Danmark). On September 11th 2007 the group staged a demonstration in Brussels, Belgium. Affiliate organizations have been created in 10 European countries including Denmark, Russia, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden and the United States of America.

Unte Against Fascism called on its supporters to meet for a counter-demonstration. At around 5pm demonstrators, some armed with weapons, broke through police ranks and ran through the streets. The stand-off was still going at around 7pm, with groups of youths seperated by riot police.
Stephen Gash of the SIOE said: ” I am proud of the development of the EDL and the WDL. I am delighted that they have started up, as they are really trying to get the message across.” Police are still investigating the Welsh Defence League march in Swansea. Most importantly the SIOE, Frank Vanhecke, Geert Wilders and Stephen Garsh should ban hookas and hashish most of which comes from Muslim countires (or do they just ignore this fact).
The list is long, Croissants, Marsipan, the Dome structures of building, Gothic architecture, trial by jury, paper, printing, gunpowder, the compass all have Islamic origins. Frank Vanhecke, Stephen Garsh & Geert Wilders should eliminate all these from the Netherlands, Belgium and Europe.
The SIOE, Frank Vanhecke, Geert Wilders & Stephen Garsh should also ban Arabic words and symbols in the Netherlands, Belgium & Europe. He should begin with banning the ” ‘Arabic’ numerals” (the numbering system used by the world) and revert back to the Roman numeral system. He should also ban Chemistry (Al Chemia), Algebra (Al Gebran) and all words beginning with “Al” including Alchohol.

I saw Stephen Gash briefly at the BMSD anti al-Muhajiroun protest and he had a sort of looming Nosferatu quality to him which made me feel instantly uneasy in his presence. At the time I knew very little about him, but soon found out that my instincts were right. Not only does he hold extreme views about Muslims, but his website also writes in support of Radovan Karadzic, who is now in The Hague facing charges of war crimes against, among others, Bosnian Muslims (of which he stands accused of killing 7500). Let’s just hope that SIOE’s solution to ‘stopping the Islamisation of Europe’ does not mirror that of the Serbian ultra-nationalists.
Riot police were struggling to contain protests by anti-fascist demonstrators and rightwing organizations(SIOE) outside a mosque in north-west London tonight. Officers were hit by bricks and bottles as they tried to keep about 1,000 rival demonstrators apart outside the partially completed mosque near the tube station in Harrow. Seven people had been arrested and weapons, including bottles of bleach, a hammer and a chisel, were seized, a Metropolitan police spokeswoman said.
